Nas and Levi’s® celebrate the soul of hip-hop with a new collection

Levi’s® x Nas honours the legacy of hip-hop with a collection inspired by Illmatic and the spirit of Queens.

Three T-shirts, three tributes.

Levi’s® joins forces with one of the most influential figures in hip-hop to unveil its latest collaboration. Levi’s® x Nas is a collection that celebrates the journey and cultural impact of the New York rapper.

Born Nasir Jones in Queens, New York, Nas is regarded as one of hip-hop’s greatest storytellers. From his debut with Illmatic in 1994 —an album that marked a before and after in the genre’s history and celebrated its 30th anniversary last year— to works such as It Was Written, Stillmatic, Life Is Good and the King’s Disease series, the artist has maintained a distinctive voice and a deep connection to his roots.

The Levi’s® x Nas Band Tees collection consists of three premium T-shirts that reinterpret the spirit of classic band tees. Each piece blends the artist’s musical heritage with Levi’s® timeless style.

A grey long-sleeved T-shirt features “Nas” on the chest and the motto “one life / One love / one King” on the back, reflecting the rapper’s philosophical outlook. The white short-sleeved T-shirt pays tribute to Illmatic, with its iconic album cover on the front and the Levi’s® logo on the sleeves. Finally, the black short-sleeved T-shirt showcases the Stillmatic cover, the album that reaffirmed Nas as hip-hop royalty, alongside Levi’s® branding.

Nas represents the authentic spirit of hip-hop culture, which has always been intertwined with Levi’s®,” says Leo Gamboa, Vice President of Collaborations at Levi’s®. “With T-shirts that celebrate some of his most beloved albums, this collection honours the connection between music, style and cultural expression that defines both Nas and Levi’s®.”

Queens as the main character

To accompany the launch, Levi’s® has partnered with Mass Appeal, Nas’s record label, on a campaign directed by Phoenix Skye Maulella and photographed by Camilo Fuentealba Brevis.

Set in Queens, the campaign captures real stories from across the borough —from Astoria to South Jamaica— highlighting people who embody its creative and hard-working spirit. Featured talents include Brian “B. Dot” Miller, Syreeta Gates and Parks Vallely, three local figures who reflect the community’s energy and pride.

This collaboration with Nas is part of a broader series of Levi’s® releases dedicated to iconic artists and bands. Previous collections have paid tribute to names such as Oasis, Blur, Sonic Youth, Joy Division and New Order.

The Levi’s® x Nas collection will be available worldwide from 6 November 2025 on Levi.com, the Levi’s® app and at selected Levi’s® stores.
