Stone Island and New Balance reunite in a collaboration that celebrates the balance between performance and design. Their latest release, the Furon V8, merges technical precision with the visual sensibility that defines both brands.
The boots arrive in a tonal olive colourway that covers the entire silhouette. Half of the outsole features a metallic silver finish with a mirror effect, a nod to the contrast of materials that forms part of Stone Island’s DNA.
The Hypoknit upper is fused with a matte polyurethane film and integrated ripstop texture, offering both lightness and durability. The tonal 3D logos complete a clean, functional design built for movement.
Performance with Aesthetic Precision
On the technical side, the Furon V8 incorporates offset lacing to enhance fit and control. The Speed Ctrl Stud system delivers sharper traction during quick turns. Its split soleplate combines a matte forefoot with a chrome-electroplated heel, reinforcing the sense of contrast and material experimentation.
A low-profile collar, woven heel tab, and reflective yarns add support and visibility. The boots also include two sets of performance laces with co-branded aglets, allowing simple and cohesive customisation.
A Complete Football Kit
The collaboration extends beyond footwear with a football kit consisting of a jersey, shorts and socks, reflecting the same technical and aesthetic approach. Crafted in polyester jacquard with engineered mesh zones, the set balances durability and breathability.
Bonded seams, taped finishes, and raised ripstop-textured logos create a cohesive look, while reflective accents and tonal embroidery connect the apparel visually with the boots, maintaining a consistent material and functional identity.
The Stone Island x New Balance Furon V8 boots will be released on 19 November via the official Stone Island and New Balance websites.
