Zara once again blurs the line between fashion and cinema with Le Dîner. The audiovisual piece serves as the introduction to its special Christmas collection. More than a simple commercial, the Galician brand proposes a choral story set around an elegant and enigmatic dinner. At its core, human connections become the true driving force of the narrative.
The film is produced by Little Spain and directed by Santos Bacana and Rogelio González. Its cast brings together international figures such as Rossy de Palma, Chucho Valdés, Vincent Cassel, Damson Idris, Dylan Penn and Diane Kruger. They all meet in one of Madrid’s most sophisticated restaurants. It is there that a dinner unfolds, beginning in a conventional way before turning into something entirely unexpected.
A dinner that changes course
The story opens with Rossy de Palma in the role of head of the dining room. Her character ensures that everything is perfectly prepared. Gradually, the guests arrive at the restaurant. The evening takes a turn with the appearance of a mysterious stranger, played by Vincent Cassel. His presence, marked by magnetism and silence, disrupts the rhythm of the night and sparks a series of improvised encounters among the guests.
Connections, music and Christmas
Through spontaneous conversations and exchanged glances, the film focuses on the intangible. It highlights how people who do not know each other can connect within the same space. In one of the most special moments, Cuban pianist and composer Chucho Valdés appears as a cook. The night comes to a close with his music, enveloping the diners.
With this proposal, the Inditex-owned brand offers a clear nod to Christmas. A time designed for coming together, sharing and allowing unexpected moments to happen around a table.
Le Dîner is available on Zara’s website, its app and across its digital channels.
