Bad Bunny and adidas have just released the BadBo 1.0, the first trainers created solely by the artist. After years of working together, this new model finally arrives bearing his name and style from start to finish.
The trainers are easy to describe: they feature a white base with a brown suede upper. They look clean and refined, and are suitable both for going out and for everyday wear. They are made from different materials such as leather, suede and a rubber sole, giving them a solid feel and a sense of quality.
In the finer details, adidas’ influence is clear. They include blue accents from adidas Originals, the Trefoil logo on the heel, and a stitched number at the back that identifies each pair. These are not ordinary trainers — they are designed to be something special.
And they truly are, as only 1,994 pairs exist worldwide, a number that refers to Bad Bunny’s year of birth. For this reason, the release is extremely limited and highly sought after by fans and collectors alike.
The BadBo 1.0 went on sale through Bad Bunny’s official adidas online store, but they did not last long: they are now completely sold out. Proof once again that these trainers, simple, well made and full of meaning, were among the most wanted of the year.
Bad Bunny invites J Balvin and puts an end to their rivalry at the closing of his Mexico residency.
