Feid takes centre stage at Stone Island Denim Research

The investigation continues during the SS ‘026 season.

Taking the launch of its denim collection as a starting point, Stone Island expands its universe and pushes it into new technical and aesthetic territories. The new proposal thus delves deeper into its own experimental essence with seasonal washes achieved through the use of enzymatic bleach and unconventional fabrics that reaffirm its obsession with material innovation.

Among this season’s key pieces is the coach jacket in ultra-bleached indigo denim, which has undergone a chlorine treatment that radically lightens the garment to achieve an ultra-light, almost ethereal finish, without losing the characteristic structure of the twill and its iconic diagonal pattern.

The use of hollow fibre nylon introduces new textures and volumes, expanding the technical vocabulary of the line while keeping intact the laboratory spirit that has always defined Stone Island.

As part of the “Community as a Form of Research” campaign, the brand is transferring its experimental process to a collective narrative. Charlie Hunnam embodies the 4100002 DENSE OXFORD NYLON-TC, a jacket made from dense oxford nylon yarn and dyed in a carefully selected indigo to recreate a denim look. The piece features industrial silicone patches on the elbows—a direct nod to archival pieces from the 1980s—and is finished with metal hardware that emphasises its utilitarian character.

Feid champions the 06S00J9_INDIGO DENIM-ULTRA BLEACHED, a coach jacket subjected to seasonal washing with enzymatic bleach. The treatment combines chlorine to discolour the garment until it achieves that ultra-bleached effect, while the twill maintains the structural essence of classic denim.
