A$AP Rocky confirms Rihanna is working on new album

28 January marked eight years since Rihanna released her last studio album to date: Anti. Her entrepreneurial side and motherhood have taken up all her time over the past five years. Last year’s Super Bowl halftime show gave many hope that she would return to the stage – she hasn’t toured since 2016’s ANTI – but it never happened.

More than a year after that SuperBowl, Asap Rocky himself, has confirmed the long-awaited. The rapper came to greet a small group of fans and answered questions about his return. “He’s working on it,” he said. In December, producer James Fauntleroy assured People that Rihanna has been working on new material. “I’ve known her for a long time, and the last session I did with her was last week,” he said.
