adidas signs the official kits for Paris 2024

Representing the country’s identity through careful designs and details in the form of flames that symbolise the passion of the athletes.

With just 99 days to go until the biggest sporting event of the year kicks off, adidas has everything ready for the big moment. Yesterday, adidas presented the exclusive kits that the national teams will wear in the French capital during the months of July and August to 75 athletes of 16 different nationalities.

The collection has been designed with a clear goal in mind: that all athletes share the same passion for the sport and that, every time they test themselves in an international competition, an inner flame shines in each of them. Thus, the garments of its 15 sponsored teams will feature special typographies, graphics and prints that keep this spirit alive while intermingling with the striped pattern with touches of colour.

In addition, 49 different footwear designs have been devised, specialising in up to 41 sporting disciplines. Of these, more than 20 can be seen competing during the Olympic Games.

“We believe there is no greater demonstration of what it means to design for an athlete than a competition that showcases the breadth and variety of sport in this way. As well as helping them perform at their best in high-pressure situations, these collections will help them connect with their country through a variety of designs inspired by their national identity,” says Jacqueline King, adidas Director of Specialty Sports Design.
