adidas Originals by Wales Bonner: its collab Vol. IV arrives

Wales Bonner and adidas Originals have teamed up for their fourth collaboration for SS22, once again inspired by styles from the 70s and 80s.

The adidas Originals by Wales Bonner designs evoke Wales Bonner‘s interest in the music and photography of Burkina Faso in the 70s and 80s and pay homage to the creative energy and individuality of style.

These influences are reflected in the athletic-inspired jacquard knitwear and the seventies version of the Track Top and Track Pants. The items come in the following colours “Primary Red”, “Sun Yellow” and “Pale Pink”.

The same references continue in footwear, with two versions of the adidas Country silhouette arriving in black and brown. In addition, Wales Bonner has also reissued the WB Samba in red/white and white/green.

The collection has been photographed by Jalan and Jibril Durimel along with stylist Tom Guinness. All Spring/Summer 2022 pieces will be released on 4 June through adidas Confirmed and select retailers.
