adidas unveils the third kit of its top European football clubs

adidas is back with a bang, launching a new collection of football kits that fuse the iconic Trefoil logo, emblematic of its Originals line, with the designs of its top five European clubs: Real Madrid, Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Juventus and Manchester United.

At the unveiling of the third kits of five of Europe’s giants, we witnessed a stellar display featuring Zinedine Zidane, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Rio Ferdinand, Patrick Vieira and Alessandro del Piero. Each of them representing the team that shaped their careers.

This campaign comes at an emblematic moment for adidas, coinciding with the brand’s 75th anniversary. The firm is taking the opportunity to celebrate its sporting legacy with reissues such as the Real Madrid shirt from the 1999/2000 season, the Manchester United shirt from 1991 or the Newcastle shirt from 1995.

One of the most iconic details of these shirts is the incorporation of the vintage adidas trefoil logo, a tribute to the shared history between the brand and the clubs on this 75th anniversary.

Real Madrid

Real Madrid have counted on Zinedine Zidane for the presentation of the third kit. A shirt with a beautiful grey colour and a subtle print with the club’s initials. A jewel for the most passionate madridistas.

Manchester United

A shirt worn by Rio Ferdinand, who proudly displays the team’s tricolour flag on his chest: white, red and black. What we like the most is that instead of the official club crest, they have chosen to add the classic Red Devil.

Bayern de Munich

Schweinsteiger and Bayern. It was undeniable that German was going to be the image of the third kit. The shirt stands out for having red and burgundy details that contrast perfectly with the beige base colour, which gives it that vintage look.

Juventus

It has probably been the most praised on social media. This could be the most elegant one thanks not only to the print and the polo style collar, but also to the contrast of the shield and the clover in gold. Del Piero has been in charge of defending it.

Arsenal

The Arsenal kit is arguably the furthest away from the vintage style of the other kits. Although it is still retro in style, it has a more modern feel to it, thanks to the gradient in vibrant blue tones. Patrick Vieira has been chosen.

Already available on the adidas website and in the shops of each club, these shirts are priced between 100 and 150 euros.

Real Madrid unveils the shirt that its players will wear for matches away from the Santiago Bernabéu in the 2024/25 season.
