This collaborative story revolving around cultural luxury that infuses European heritage with Afro-Atlantic spirit continues to elevate sportswear through couture, serving up pieces crafted in the wake of a technical approach and overflowing elegance.
The power of nostalgia is now diluted with preppy essence to present a series of vintage pieces that remaster the adidas archive for new generations who practice the religion of quiet luxury in fashion, amidst neutral tones and athletic influences from the 70s and 90s.
The FW23 collection includes brown, grey and cream velour tracksuits, stamped with the three contrasting Trefoil stripes, along with Wales Bonner stripes. Basic T-shirts and utility trousers also make up looks that dazzle with graphic rhinestones on skinny underwear. Finally, asymmetrical knitwear is presented in green and combined with preppy styles with two-tone collars.
In footwear, adidas and Wales Bonner continue to redesign the iconic Samba silhouette, characterised above all by its oversized tongues. Now, it comes in a variety of materials such as dyed leather with co-branded badges in leopard, burgundy, black and cream, while fur upper panels introduce stacked textures on standard rubber sole units to the sneaker.
The complete adidas and Wales Bonner FW23 collection will be available on 8 November via the adidas website and in selected shops.
