All of Us Are Dead, the latest Korean zombie series, is the third K-drama to make it into the world top on Netflix, after Squid Game and Hellbound.
The horror series launched on the platform on 28 January and took just one day to reach the top spot in the world’s top 10 series. In addition to the international ranking, the title has ranked second in 25 countries such as Korea, Germany and France, and first in 25 regions, including Japan, Mexico and India.
The platform increasingly has an interest in Korean content. Netflix revealed that it has invested $700 million to produce more content from this country. Productions such as Hellbound, The Silent Sea and Single’s Inferno, to name but a few, have been successful.
For those who haven’t yet seen All of Us Are Dead, it’s based on a group of high school students who get locked on campus when a zombie apocalypse breaks out.
