After Jerry Lorenzo confirmed a new direction for the Fear of God x Adidas partnership last fall, sneakerheads were eager to see what the designer’s next creation would be. With new leaks circulating, Lorenzo has shared a statement with Complex.
“This is not the Fear of God and adidas basketball shoe,” Lorenzo said of the leak, adding that the Fear of God x adidas performance trainers and ready-to-wear collections are officially available on April 19 during the Hollywood Bowl presentation.
The trainer in question appeared on @youngviet23‘s Instagram and was shared by @ovrnundr.io. The images show a mid-cut design in black and cream with a forefoot strap, Three Stripes logo on the toe and Fear of God branding on the heel below the adidas Trefoil logo.
