An exclusive edition of the Birkin ‘Faubourg’ model by Hermès sold for no less than 158,000 euros on Vestiaire Collective.

The transaction set an all-time record on the platform, becoming the most expensive sale ever recorded. The title was held by another Birkin whose sale value closed at 112,000 euros last November.

This model is practically unattainable, as only 50 were produced in 2019 and they were reserved for Hermès VIP clients. If we add to that the fact that the value of these bags has increased by 15% and demand by 20% over the last year, the price has skyrocketed to exorbitant figures.

But Hermès is not Vestiaire Collective‘s only desired brand. Louis Vuitton, Dior, Prada and Gucci top the search list.
