Apple has long been rumoured to be working on augmented reality glasses, and now we finally know what the price will be.

According to Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the tech giant will offer the glasses for more than $2,000, ranking among the most expensive products in the current AR and VR market. Despite the price tag, Kuo added that Apple plans to release more than 1.5 million units in 2023 alone.

Reports suggest that the device will sport two 8K displays with advanced eye-tracking technology that significantly elevates it from any other AR goggles you can buy right now. There will also be more than 12 cameras that will track your hand movements.

Ming-Chi Kuo added that Apple is already developing a second generation of AR glasses that will launch in the first half of 2025, followed by a more affordable model. As usual, Apple hasn’t made it official yet, so stay tuned for further updates.

Now… Did you know that the Apple Watch Series 8 will be able to detect if you have a fever?
