Aries and Umbro design a capsule inspired by football

The football-inspired collection includes 10 grabber-rave style jerseys designed by Aries and Umbro and will be available from June 17.

British talent intensifies to pay homage to the national sport par excellence: football. Aries and Umbro, working in collaboration, have designed a capsule consisting of 10 T-shirts inspired by the sports kit.

Lea Colombo has been in charge of immortalizing the campaign through a photo shoot and a short film. These audiovisual documents show both the complete collection of designs and the young models playing football with their mascots.

As Sofia Prantera, founder of Aries states “Playing amateur football was forbidden during confinement, so we started doing it with our dogs.” The designer also confessed that they found inspiration for the project through images of great soccer players like Messi playing with their pets and the work of Rineke Dijkstra, a Dutch artist.

The Aries x Umbro T-shirt collection will go on sale June 17 and will be available at ariesarise.com
