AWWZ documentary ‘WOMEN IN THE STUDIO’ explores women’s role in music production

A captivating production by LADRADORA and NIGHTWALK FILMS in collaboration with Jägermeister that explores the process of creating AWWZ’s first album.

Entitled ‘LADAH TEMPLE’, the album has been made entirely by women. Through their reflections and personal experiences, these artists break down barriers and address the issue of feminism in the field of music production. ‘WOMEN IN THE STUDIO’ was presented at the last edition of the International In-Edit Festival and was also awarded the Silver Biznaga “Special Mention of the Malaga Festival”.

Jägermeister wanted to support AWWZ by developing this pioneering documentary through the Best Night Funds. This collaboration has highlighted the important role of women in this traditionally male-dominated discipline. The experience has resulted in an audiovisual piece that seeks to inspire and promote gender equality in the music industry.

Through ‘WOMEN IN THE STUDIO’ we enter the creative universe of these artists as they show us the entire process of creating the album: from composition to production, highlighting the unique perspectives and powerful voices that emerge.
