Bad Bunny’s appearance in “Cassandro” trailer

Prime Video has released the official trailer for ‘Cassandro’, the film directed by Roger Ross Williams and starring Gael García Bernal that tells the story of the professional wrestler.

American athlete Saul Armendariz – better known as Cassandro – rose to fame when he began competing as an exotic. In wrestling, exotics are wrestlers who adopt a homosexual persona or wear female costumes during battles. Now, he becomes the star of Prime Video’s new film, which goes back to the early 1980s to tell his story through Gael García Bernal, Roberta Colindrez, Perla De La Rosa and… Bad Bunny, who is rumoured to play the role of Cassandro’s possible lover and makes an appearance in the official trailer.

‘Cassandro’ will premiere on the platform on 22 September. In the meantime… we look back at the history of Barbie and how one doll changed popular culture.
