From Alexa Chung to Penélope Cruz, Sienna Miller to Bella Hadid, over the years we’ve seen the it girls of the moment embrace the fringe trend at some point. Why? It adds extra personality to your look and goes with almost any haircut. The latest to go for the ‘Bardot’ fringe is artist Bad Gyal, who showed us her new cut at the Courregès FW24 show during Paris Fashion Week.
Although the singer is constantly changing her look, she always does it within certain parameters. The Catalan has almost always opted for blonde or light brown hair, sometimes with a mid-length cut and sometimes in an extra-long version. However, we had never seen her with fringes before. With a middle parting, parted sides, thick and with a gradual fall, the fringe promoted by Bardot in the 60s was a symbol of sensuality in its time, and Bad Gyal confirms that it is still like that.
