Many fashion brands such as Celine or Miu Miu are designing collections to celebrate the Chinese Valentine’s Day or Qixi (August 14th). Now it’s Balenciaga’s turn to create the ideal outfit for Valentine’s Day.
Balenciaga has created a collection in which it redesigns its key garments in shades of pink and red, the colours of love. Highlights from the capsule include the baguette bag and heart-shaped clutch, as well as the Track Sandal and Track Sneaker lined in pink teddy.
The red heart print permeates T-shirts, hoodies and caps. In addition, there are not only garments, but also accessories such as socks, the Love Bag Charm key ring and the Love bracelet and pendant, available in silver and in the shape of a heart.
To accompany the launch, Balenciaga created a campaign set in Shanghai, China, starring digital avatars as models. Check out their website to see the Chinese Valentine’s Day collection and you can buy it now in-store and online.
