The Triple S has become an icon of sneakerhead and streetwear culture since its release in 2017, having been the subject of both praise and criticism.
With countless releases in different colorways, it would be hard not to find one that fits your preferences, and this is one of the reasons why there have been few collaborations on this silhouette. The Triple S has achieved a success of its own without relying on collaborations to drive sales for the brand. It is due in large part to its distinctive triple sole design, created by Demna Gvasalia and footwear designer David Tourniaire-Beauciel.
In its latest version, the Triple S features light blue denim panels that cover the entire sneaker. Other details, such as soft blue laces, pull tabs and rubber soles, integrate perfectly with the denim.
The sneaker is decorated with subtle touches of white, such as the embroidered logo, the size indicator on the toe and the “Triple S” branding in white rubberized on the tongue.
The retail price for this latest offering is $1,100 USD, and it’s available now on Balenciaga’s official website.
And in case you missed it, Balenciaga adds screws to its Bouncer sneaker.
