When Demna & Balenciaga presented the Triple S in their FW17 parade defining it as “high-strength and high-fashion footwear” we are sure they didn’t think it would be as successful as it has been.
A sneaker in which its size, added to its shape and weight far from making it undesirable has caused the opposite effect, has multiplied the desire to possess it, making almost immediate sold-out of each of the variants presented to date.
That’s why this collaboration with DSM, in addition to the incentive of being a special edition, has to be added that it becomes a new opportunity to obtain one of the most coveted elements of the current fashion scene.
Balenciaga and the “market” offer us a Triple S with yellow, white and light blue colors that are superimposed to the erosion typical of the model to which they add own shoelaces of trekking.
As they did in Colette, Balenciaga, accompanies this launch with a presentation event in which his creative project COPYSHOP will be present. Project through which you can create your own Balenciaga garment in the act by choosing the print that best suits your tastes.
There will be T-shirts, both for men and women, with two different fits in white, grey, black and red, as well as with the option of putting on the back ‘Balenciaga do it yourself ts’. We suppose that way they wash their hands before any awful tee that may arise from the creativity of customers ; -)
The Triple S x DSM will be presented at all Dover Street Market stores worldwide on November 30th. COPYSHOP will be installed at DSM London and DSM Ginza from November 30th to December 17th.
