Yes, you probably lusted after them and loathed them in equal parts. Balenciaga’s Speed Trainer became the ultimate wardrobe staple for every streetwear lover back in 2016, becoming Demna’s first big seller.

Seven years later, the silhouette is back in our lives, but this time in clog form to keep up with the latest trends. While its black and white recycled knit sock construction and ergonomic Speed Trainer sole unit have been retained, this version is backless. Finally, Balenciaga branding is printed on the outer side in contrasting white lettering against the black background and midsole.

The Balenciaga Speed Mule is now available online and in some of the physical shops for 595€.
