Bape’s Menswear SS22 collection is loaded with garments inspired by university and military culture. In other words, the uniform culture, but without leaving aside the streetwear influence.
Following its latest trainer collaboration with JJJound, the Japanese fashion label founded by designer and musician Nigo has released the lookbook for its upcoming Spring/Summer 2022 collection.
Bape goes back to its roots and reuses some of OG BAPE’s prints (the 90s military label and the 40s-inspired Beethoven graphic), combined with new designs. One example is the 3D APE HEAD camouflage sweatshirt with sleeve pockets.
Other highlights from the Japanese brand’s SS22 collection include tye-die puffers, neon day-glo 1ST CAMO sets, BAPE star-printed cardigans and denim shorts.
