UNIQLO brings us the lookbook for the new collection between Billie Eilish and Takashi Murakami. The collaboration was born out of an Instagram exchange between the American artist and the Japanese artist which led the couple to jointly create the music video for Eilish’s song “You Should See Me in a Crown”. An extension of their mutual admiration is this collection for UNIQLO’s UT line which will be available from today.
The capsule shows the unique perspectives of both artists through bold graphics and prints. Murakami reimagines Eilish’s logo and aesthetic with his iconic vibrant flowers, which are applied to the T-shirts.
“Two of the most influential global creators are coming together as one as a new universal art expression,” says John C. Jay, President of UNIQLO Global Creative.
The Billie Eilish by Takashi Murakami UT collection will be available at selected UNIQLO stores worldwide and on the website starting today.
