Birkenstock presents the first release of its 1774 collection

Birkenstock 1774 presents its second eponymous collection following the successful launch of its first collection at Frieze Los Angeles. 

Birkenstock 1774 reinvents the brand’s most iconic models with a modern twist. The Arizona and Boston silhouettes are reinterpreted in a timeless version with new buckles, branding and materials, reflecting craftsmanship and comfort.

The first of the 2 models is the black leather Arizona, with its unique extra-thin sole, embossed crocodile-effect leather in a matte finish and the signature buckle reinvented in a classic and versatile shape for a timeless look.

The second is the iconic Boston clog in ultra-soft suede with canvas straps, the classic Birkenstock anatomically shaped footbed in cork and latex covered in soft nappa leather and a new version of the buckles for a perfect fit.

 

The exclusive first instalment will be available on  1774.com and selected retail outlets worldwide from 20 September, while the main collection will be launched globally in February 2022.
