Fashion doesn’t always have to make sense, and we’ve seen this on several occasions such as with the launch of Balenciaga’s iconic “trash bag” or JW Anderson’s new frog-like handbag.
A large part of the public may not always understand the intentions behind such “nonsense” creations, but for some reason they keep the interest of fans.
The latest bizarre accessory to catch our attention is Bottega Veneta’s new large Cabat bag, priced at close to 10,000 euros. At first glance, the item might just look like a large mass of bubble wrap. Its exterior is made of transparent silicone and measures 51 cm high, 45 cm wide and 20 cm deep. The handles are crafted from dark brown lambskin and feature brass finishes.
The bag is available now through Bottega Veneta at a price of 8,500 euros.
In case you missed it, we talked about the transformation of sneakers into mules.
