Bottega Veneta’s discreet return to social media

A shift in Bottega Veneta’s marketing strategy under the leadership of Matthieu Blazy could be underway.

A shift in Bottega Veneta’s marketing strategy under the leadership of Matthieu Blazy could be underway.

A few days before the brand’s upcoming presentation at Milan Fashion Week for the Fall/Winter 2023 season, Bottega Veneta has quietly returned to the networks. It has been on the Chinese platform Sina Weibo where the Italian house, under the direction of Blazy, has published the same teasers for its upcoming runway show that are being posted on its website, and have already garnered more than 2.5 million views and numerous flattering comments.

The brand had eliminated all its social media accounts under Daniel Lee in 2021. Even so, they had not disappeared from the networks as such, they were just using them in a different way. The public could still see the brand’s news on Instagram or other platforms from its ambassadors and followers, even if it wasn’t from the house’s official accounts.

Bottega Veneta has not commented on this return, but it could be a change in Lee’s marketing strategy that has been in place for the past two years. To stay tuned for the latest news from Fashion Week, don’t miss any of the news on Highxtar. Bottega Veneta’s FW23 presentation will take place on February 25, 2023 at 20:00 CET.
