The acclaimed actor officially joins the British fashion house.
Born in Dublin in 1992, Barry Keoghan made his acting debut in 2011, appearing in the short film ‘Stand Up’. But his international recognition would not come until 2017 thanks to his role in Christopher Nolan‘s ‘Dunkirk’ and his critically acclaimed performance in ‘The Killing of a Sacred Deer’. His latest success on the big screen corresponds to his latest work in ‘Saltburn’ through which he was nominated for a BAFTA.
He now officially joins Burberry as an ambassador, having attended the British fashion house‘s last show at London Fashion Week in February.
“I have always been a fan of Burberry. It is an iconic and innovative brand that is committed to supporting art and culture. I’m delighted to be part of this next chapter,” says Kheogan.
Daniel Lee says he has known Barry for five years and has seen him “become one of the most talented actors of his generation, which is incredibly inspiring for him. He also perfectly reflects the spirit of the brand. I’m proud to welcome him to the Burberry family.”
