Carhartt WIP’s latest “Treated” drop, which follows the launch of the brand’s Autumn/Winter 2021 “Icons” collection, focuses on reimagining its classics through wash and dye treatments.
The streetwear brand born in 1889 in Detroit launches this week’s drop inspired by the baggy style and nature colours of the 80s. All silhouettes are oversized and boxy, but cinched at the cuffs and waist, creating a “balloon” effect. In addition, new washes and fabrics offer a twist on Carhartt’s classic jeans and jackets.
Sweatshirts, key items in the F/W21 collection, take on more saturated tones than usual. And they come in two designs: the Vista hoodie and the Kingsley zip-up hoodie, both made from 100% cotton. Other items included in the “Treated” capsule are sports outfits, trousers, T-shirts and socks.
The Carhartt WIP FW21 “Treated” collection is now available online and in shops.
