Carlota Barrera joins the sportswear in her SS22 collection

Carlota Barrera, known for her contemporary and timeless aesthetic, presents the new SS22 collection which combines a relaxed 70s football vibe with the brand’s natural magnetism and timeless elegance. For the London Fashion Week launch, the brand teams up with New Balance Football and its clubs AS Roma, LOCS Lille, FC Porto and Athletic Club, whose 21/22 season kits are featured in some of the digital fashion show looks.

Carlota Barrera introduces in her collection new pieces such as two-tone knitted polo shirts, T-shirts with messages inspired by Word Art posters, shirts with spray effect stripes and tailoring and outerwear in technical fabrics. The reinvented, contemporary and timeless tailoring reappears in shades of green, off-white and black with fluid trousers with vertical coloured stripes throughout the show.

With this collection Carlota Barrera continues to strengthen the brand’s message, deeply focused on challenging stereotypes and exploring evolving gender identities. The collection attempts to get rid of rigid codes and celebrates team play, the creation of communities based on trust and inclusion in every sense.
