Yesterday, the Ville Lumiere in Paris hosted Casablanca’s new men’s collection, which focuses on travel. ‘Le Monde Diplomatique’ is inspired by stewardesses’ outfits, pastel colours and haute couture details.
In a Fashion Week in which the digital and the physical merge, Charaf Tajer has opted for cinema. Through a fashion film entitled ‘Le Monde Diplomatique’, the emblematic designer opens the doors of his exclusive world full of Parisian palaces and transatlantic travels.
It is nothing less than “a tribute to Paris, with a very Diana and Dodi spirit, with nods to the palaces of the capital, and that aspect of luxury travel, of crossing the world, easy and festive”. In this way, Tajer transferred his universe to the surrealist house of Vincent Darré. Coats with unusual patterns, zip-up jumpsuits, down jackets, pearls, feathers and crystals. This is Casablanca‘s latest collection.
And speaking of Paris Fashion Week… Have you seen Nigo’s first collection for Kenzo?
