The list of Nike’s Japanese collaborators continues to expand even further with the new proposal. Hand in hand with one of the most coveted brands of the moment – Cav Empt – comes the new proposal.
For those unfamiliar with the Japanese brand, Cav Empt is a derivative of the Latin term: Caveat Emptor. This term means “that the buyer is attentive“, playing with the irony that you must be aware that you no longer have any guarantee about the quality of the products. Under this concept CE is inspired by the consumer society, futuristic designs and oversize cuts.
For its first collaboration with the swoosh’s giant, Cav Empt has chosen to redesign the Air Max 95 which is presented to us in a digital camo that connects with the essence of tomorrow and production failures in the consumer society to which we referred. Black and white as the protagonists and a gum sole as a touch.
These Nike Air Max 95 by Cav Empt (@cavempt) will go on sale on November 29th for 170€. A #musthave for concept and japanism brand lovers.
