Nike has everything ready for the launch of its new collaboration with the brand of Sk8thing and Toby Feltwell’s = Cav Empt. Following the guidelines of the most classic street, the capsule of C.E. and Nike seeks to mix references from both Japan and London.
The collection consists of a tracksuit, sweatshirt, sweater, cap, vest and a special reinterpretation of the Air Max 95. As for the colour palette, navy blue and bronze take centre stage.
As Toby Feltwell comments “In the early 2000s, a Nike Tracksuit paired with Nike Air max was the uniform of the London Streets. We started C.E. a decade later, and though we were in Tokyo, images from that time and place have been consistently with us. We looked at this opportunity to work with Nike as a way to interact with these images more directly. We are engaging in a sort of time travel. The project with Nike has allowed us to work in the present to redesign our past.“.
The Nike x Cav Empt collection will be launched at Cav Empt’s online store and at the Tokyo store on January 5, and then extended on January 10.
