The collaboration between COMME des GARÇONS and Salomon Sportstyle presented on the Kawakubo brand’s autumn/winter 2021 catwalk is about to go global.
Their creative and/or technical union declines in three experimental versions of the footwear brand’s “XA-Alpine” and “Cross“.
The high-top boots have a minimalist black and white color scheme, accentuated by the CDG logo on the side walls. Salomon’s technical elements run throughout the sneaker boot, which is closed by a zip at the top. Contagrip outsoles finish off the functionality of the piece to take it from the catwalk to the mountain.
The Cross silhouette features an ankle gaiter with a houndstooth gaiter, which complements the breathable Matryx upper in black. Salomon’s “S” stamp underlines the toe cap and tongue design, while the CdG logo is printed on the sides.
The COMME des GARÇONS x Salomon Sportstyle XA-Alpine and Cross will go on sale on 28 October via theDSM website.
