Celine has already unveiled its women’s collection for next winter: Parade. On this occasion, Hedi Slimane has once again addressed young people with an updated proposal of his particular vision of the French women’s closet.
Taking the André Le Nôtre gardens of the Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte as a backdrop, Celine unveiled a few hours ago its collection for FW21. Hedi Slimane described this new chapter for the brand as “a utopian fashion show and a melancholic reverie of interrupted youth. So, for next winter, the brand is back to delight us with a new version of the women’s closet that combines French chic with contemporary codes.
Garments such as tweed blazers, leather culottes or leather vests coexisted with romantic or sequined dresses that shone in the magical setting conceived for the occasion. On the other hand, cropped tops, denim or coats over hoodies also had their role in creating the “cool girl” look of the season. As well as the signature baseball-inspired cap, sunglasses and hiking boots.
As usual, Celine has resorted to an audiovisual production in a spectacular location to present its new collection. The video, filmed in the André Le Nôtre gardens, combines French luxury and country style to conclude with a fireworks show that illuminated the night sky.
We leave you with the video of “Parade”, Hedi Slimane’s latest collection for Celine. What did you think?
