Celine travels to Nice to present its SS22 collection

The French fashion house Celine, far from presenting its Spring/Summer 22 collection like the rest of the brands, in the fashion city during fashion week, has decided to honour the upcoming season and move to the French coast to unveil it.

Named “Baie des Anges” and with the iconic hotel “Le Negresco” in Nice as a backdrop, Hedi Slimane, the current creative director, has managed to create a seductive effect, thanks in part to the dreamlike Mediterranean catwalk and the signature looks.

On the other hand, we also have to highlight the juxtaposition that the designer has made, combining the modern style collection with the neoclassical architecture. Among the garments in this latest line we have to focus our attention on several of the sequined or floral print dresses, the “XL” leather jackets or the peplum tops and skirts. Ah! And we can’t forget the already mythical white trainers and the cognac mini bags, which become the perfect accessory to lift the look and add the necessary cool touch.
