Acne Studios is once again challenging the codes of contemporary fashion with its latest campaign, this time starring the pop superstar.
The British artist, known for her bold and uncompromising style, is portrayed through the lens of American photographer and visual artist Talia Chetrit, who captures the raw and authentic essence of XCX in a series of intimate and disruptive portraits.
Offering a provocative and unconventional insight into the life of a constantly evolving artist, the campaign also reveals some of the most iconic pieces from the new SS25 collection. These include iridescent, trompe-l’œil jeans, as well as new seasonal accessories: the Multipocket and Bowlina bags, reinterpreted with her unmistakable confident and defiant attitude.
This proposal maintains Acne Studios‘ commitment to connecting with the musical universe and its close relationship with Charli, whom it dressed in custom looks during her “Sweat” tour with Troye Sivan, as well as on her promotional tour for her new album and her recent remix project.
The set, located in Los Angeles, reflects the artistic approach of Chetrit, whose work explores the intersection of intimacy, domesticity, sexuality and distortion. The collaboration reinforces the Swedish brand’s transgressive aesthetic, exploring new visual narratives that break with the established.
