Fiorucci launches a limited edition collection with illustrations of forest creatures. For the occasion, the Italian fashion house has made an introspection through its archive presenting a wide variety of garments made with 100% organic cotton. The Woodland collection has been the result of this creative process.
The imaginary around wild creatures and fairy tales characterizes Fiorucci’s collections. Supernatural references invade the garments, bringing dynamism and divinity to them. Now he has just presented Woodland, a collection that travels through his archive and presents illustrations of forest creatures.
The line consists of a series of T-shirts, round-neck shirts, sweatshirts and sweatpants. As well as buckets, bags and scarves. However, one of the most suggestive parts of the proposal is the use of 100% organic cotton for the elaboration of the garments, grown without genetically modified seeds.
For his part, Fiorucci has revealed in a press release that part of the sales of the collection will be donated to the World Land Trust. This organization watches over the life and protection of wildlife.
