International LGTBQ+ Pride Day is approaching and Converse has just unveiled a collection that is inspired by diversity and self-love. Some of the sneakers that the brand has versioned are the Chuck 70, the Chuck Taylor All Star and the Run Star Hike.
Converse is committed to supporting movements that seek positive social change. That’s why, on the occasion of the annual Pride celebration, they have just unveiled a collection dedicated to each person’s individual journey to find the happiness of being themselves. It is based on five All Stars —Chuck 70, Chuck Taylor All Star – Hi, Low and Platform – and Run Star Hike— and each style includes a part with graphic prints that allude to that personal path we all proudly follow. In addition, through the Converse By You program, customers can customize their sneakers with details such as an “All Star” patch or community flag-inspired laces.
On the other hand, the brand has launched this collection in order to raise funds for LBGTQIA+ youth, the Ali Forney Center, BAGLY and OUT MetroWest. And it also collaborates with the It Gets Better project to encourage people to express their creativity through TikTok and Twitch.
This new capsule from Converse is now available in their online store. In addition, during the last weeks we have been telling you that more brands have presented their “Pride” collections, among them Apple, Parade or Vans.
