Converse rescues Keith Haring's drawings for latest collaboration

Converse pays tribute to the acclaimed Keith Haring in its new collection. Now, we can take the iconic drawings of the American artist and activist with us wherever we go.

The goal of this collaboration is to spread Haring‘s message through the brand’s classic models such as the Converse Chuck 70; Chuck Taylor All Star; Pro Leather Low or new Run Star Hike silhouette. The four pairs of the capsule compile some of his iconic drawings that reflect the spirit of the pop generation and the street culture of the 80s in New York.

Throughout his artistic career, Keith Haring combined art, music and fashion in a way never seen before. His drawings are world-renowned for their dancing figures, crawling babies and bright colors. Through art he sent messages and dealt with concepts such as death, sex and war.

In addition to the designed pairs, Converse has developed the Converse By You program in which customers will be able to customize their own Chuck 70. Four designs will be available and the ankle patches, midsole, laces, heel and lining can be modified to the consumer’s liking.
