Converse prepares us for the season ahead: unexpected rains, puddles in the middle of the road and escapes to the countryside in the middle of winter. The key is in one ingredient: Gore-Tex. But there’s much more behind each model. From now on, your Converse will be more resistant than ever and you can wear it any time of the year.
The Converse classics arrive suitable to face the most hostile climates. Some of the brand’s most iconic silhouettes are reinvented with a plus of functionality this season. The chosen ones are the model Chuck 70 Gore-Tex Hi, Bosey MC Gore-Tex Hi and Chuck Taylor Storm Boot Gore-Tex Hi. Each of these shapes comes in two different colorways.
First, the Chuck 70 of the range is a strong risk, with striking prints that resignify the classic camouflage print. The top features a REALTREE XTRA® design COLORS™ that will take you unnoticed into nature and make a difference in the urban terrain. Gore-Tex lining, of course, covers the silhouette to keep you from getting wet. The premium tab in bright contrast completes the look.
Secondly, Bosey MCs are inspired by the brand’s archives. It’s a revamped version of the MC18, this time built with a water-repellent canvas top thanks to its Gore-Tex finish. Its style, with bright colors, maximum grip sole and thermal lining, is inspired by adventurous aesthetics and work wear.
The Chuck Taylor Storm Boot, also in high cane, closes the proposal. This silhouette has been redesigned by Converse in collaboration with the firm A-COLD-WALL*. Its design features details of last year’s Chuck Lagged and a special coating so that you can step on it hard regardless of the weather conditions. The upper part is built with waterproof nubuck that prevents water and cold from entering. The inner Gore-Tex boot hides a soft lining of Microfleece fabric so that each step is a feeling of pure comfort. Finally, they include a rubber sole with maximum grip, following the most industrial workwear style that distinguishes ACW, utilitarian details and a lace system with a hiker design.
