Last Monday, Nike(@nikesportswear) projected its logo next to Corteiz(@crtz.rtw) one on its Oxford Street flagship. The London brand’s owner, Clint419, posted a photo of himself next to the flagship’s facade with both logos, setting social media ablaze and encouraging hundreds of followers to stop by the English capital’s iconic landmark.

What seemed to be a marketing move, usual for the London brand, seems to be totally real. Nike has made the collaboration official a few hours ago by publishing the snapshot of Clint419 in the same place. This is the first major brand collaboration for Corteiz, who has already worked with Motherlan or rapper Meekz for clothing capsules.
If you live in London, or are a follower of music from the English capital, chances are you’ve seen people wearing the letters “CRTZ” on some of their clothing. Or maybe you’ve seen the brand’s distinctive Alcatraz-inspired logo on cargo pants, hats or sweatshirts.
And the brand is doing a lot for London’s urban culture and such is the impact it has obtained through the support of British rappers like Dave and Central Cee that after the announcement of this union with Nike we can not think otherwise that Corteiz is becoming a real player in the urban clothing market.
Little else is known about the collaboration between Nike and Corteiz, but we know it’s going to be something big.
