Courrèges Pre-Fall 23: Di Felice explores with new silhouettes by observing the social environment

Nicolas Di Felice decides to investigate into our daily habits in the new season of Courrèges Pre-Fall 23. The attachment to screens and social networks, everything that results from the lack of real connection are the starting point of the collection.

The hunched posture we all make when looking at our phones is the trigger for the new Courrèges(@courreges) silhouette that runs throughout the collection. Despite the obvious curvature, the brand’s lines are crisp and strong, sometimes cleverly cut to create original pieces.

The trouser-miniskirt that we see in every collection, this time comes in a bolder way. A piece that could be simple bell-bottoms, adds a small space at the top of the thighs, giving rise to a hybrid garment between a skirt and pants. This same silhouette also appears in looks with a long T-shirt as a tunic. To emphasize the sensuality of women, Nicolas Di Felice uses transparencies in women’s dresses.

As well as in the cuts Nicolas Di Felice has experimented, the color palette is absolutely minimal. The entire collection is conceived in neutral tones such as black, gray and nude, giving all the prominence to the silhouette and cuts. Continuing with the Courrèges imaginary, the brand continues to include textured vinyl, which appears on dresses, tops and skirts or pants.

If you want to stay elegant and sexy all day long from morning to night, this Courreges collection will be perfect for that. For me this collection is quite a revolution among the traditional society that is often afraid to look like these models.
