After closing its 4th edition and consolidating itself as the most sustainable festival in Spain, DGTL announces that its next location in Spain will be the Spanish capital: Madrid.

A total of 35,000 people danced in the Parc del Fòrum on 11 and 12 August. DGTL, as a dj, mixes techno music with a unique art proposal and sustainable initiatives creating a completely different experience from what you’re familiar with. Far from line-ups – impressive by the way – what we liked the most was the lighting + performance connection and all the industrial and “digital” aesthetics that soaked the experience.
The festival brought together attendees from up to 51 countries, 56% of which are Spanish, followed by countries such as France, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. No doubt the sets are a sure bet, but the best we could listen to in the lives of Detroit Swindle, Fatima Yamaha or KiNK.

Loyal to its philosophy, DGTL Barcelona accompanied its musical line up with its now habitual ART & REVOLUTION programme and took a further step towards its firm goal of becoming the first sustainable festival with zero waste by 2020. The festival again did not serve meat and banned single-use plastic cups. In the artistic section it highlighted the European premiere of Cluster 2.0 and the audiovisual performance of SKYLINE.
A unique offer that is now doubling in our country, giving the Madrid public the opportunity to live their own DGTL experience. It will be held next Wednesday, December 5 at the IFEMA venue in Madrid – THURSDAY IS A HOLIDAY -.
