Dior breaks down the stigma attached to men’s make-up and the lack of diversity in make-up for all skin types. In this new campaign, starring contemporary beauty references —for some— such as Bella Hadid, it presents the product ‘Face & Body Powder-No-Powder’.
Conceptualized by Dior Makeup Creative and Image Director Peter Philips, this matte foundation for a natural look will be available in a variety of shades to suit different skin tones.
“Powder is a well-known, essential product for a make-up artist. But sometimes it can leave a powdery finish on the skin. That’s why I wanted a different, modern texture, which gives a new feel and a new make-up result,” explains Philips in a press release.
“Face & Body Powder-No-Powder has a really fine texture, blurs imperfections, evens out [the] complexion, and maintains the spirit of the light beauty look, with a luminous matte finish, in keeping with the spirit of the Dior Backstage line. It can be used alone, as a bronzer, or combined with Face & Body Foundation,” continues the creative director.
The multi-purpose powder features a sheer gel base and is infused with soft-focus pigments that instantly mattify the complexion. Plus, micro-particles of mother-of-pearl help create that natural look so desired in today’s looks.
Dior’s Face & Body Powder-No-Powder foundations will retail for $46, while the brush will be priced at $56. Both items will be available online on 1 March.
