The immersive experience will take place at the Royal Botanical Garden from December 21, 2023 to January 21, 2024, and is presented as a prelude to the biopic series “Cristóbal Balenciaga”.
Sofía Fábregas, vice president of original productions for Disney+ España, describes the series as a “unique universe” that deserves to be shown. Shehighlights the careful attention to detail, from the art direction by Mikel Serrano to the handcrafted pattern making by Bina Daigeler and Pepo Ruiz Dorado. The exhibition will offer an immersive experience for the public to appreciate the craftsmanship surrounding the project up close.
Admission to the exhibition is free with the purchase of general admission to the Real Jardín Botánico de Madrid, and the exhibition will be open Monday through Sunday from 10:00 am to 5:30 pm. There you will be able to find handcrafted replicas of Balenciaga’s most iconic dresses, created by designer Bina Daigeler, nominated for an Oscar for her work in “Mulan” (2020). Visitors will be guided on a journey through different rooms that represent key moments in the designer’s life, from his beginnings in Paris in 1937 to his consecration as one of the most important designers of all time. We can’t wait to enjoy this immersive journey followed by the series, which will premiere on Disney+ on January 19, 2024.
Y, hablando sobre moda… Dolce & Gabbana vuelve al mundo de los videojuegos.
