Don’t miss the Carhartt WIP Summer 2022 campaign

For its Spring/Summer 2022 campaign, Carhartt WIP worked with photographer Idriss Nassangar, who lives between Marrakech and Paris, to create a series of images and videos that perfectly represent the essence of the brand. 

Shot in Morocco, between the cities of Casablanca and Marrakech, the images showcase the garments from the SS/22 collection alongside the unique architecture and street treasures found in both cities. The photos highlight colour and detail, and feature a cast of friends from both cities.

Nassangar described his work as a series of “stolen moments”. Key to the photographer’s work is spontaneity and intimacy, in particular his personal project ‘A Day With?‘, in which he tenderly captures people and communities through his portraits.

 

For this campaign, Nassangar sought to capture the feeling of closeness with his models, delighting in what defines their daily lives, subtle details and ordinary moments of everyday life.
