Dr. Martens’ 1460s celebrate today their 60th anniversary in full force

The resistant 1460 boot by Dr. Martens, one of the most recognized silhouettes in the world, is today 60 years old. Since its creation in April 1st 1960, the model has become the favourite of different cultures and groups without losing the essence that makes them unmistakable. 

The 1460 boots by Dr. Martens have gradually expanded their catalogue to include a collection where different textures, colours and designs merge. From shiny and flat tones to the sobriety of total-black, this footwear has managed to be re-edited time and time again while maintaining its distinctive elements: the fabric heel handle, the foxing tape stitching or the eight eyelets of its lace system, among other things.
