Dr. Martens opens the doors of its first official shop in the heart of Madrid. A unique space in the heart of Fuencarral street that recovers the British essence so characteristic of the footwear brand.
Last night saw the inauguration of Dr. Martens’ second physical retail space in Spain, which opened its doors for the first time last August. Located at number 37 Fuencarral Street, this is the first official shop in Madrid and has 95 m2 of sales area. It will be open from Monday to Sunday from 10am to 8pm.
The grand opening featured a DJ set by Rusowsky, one of the greatest exponents of bedroom pop in Spain, and a performance by Tristán Mushu. In addition to live music and performance, there were live customisations and the best atmosphere in Madrid.
All this in a welcoming space that conveys the values and essence of Dr. Martens: rebelliousness, empowerment and self-expression. To decorate the first official shop in Madrid, Dr. Martens wanted to work with the renowned artist Coco Dávez. To do so, the artist painted a large mural on two of the shop’s walls with the brand’s originals.
In the shop you can find all the iconic silhouettes such as the Made in England line and the Adrian loafers or the classic Chelsea boot.
