Keith Haring’s ‘Night Owl’ the inspiration for OVO’s new capsule collection
October’s Very Own (OVO), rapper Drake’s brand, returns this SS22 with the launch of a streetwear collection inspired by the artist Keith Haring, an icon of New York street culture in the 80s.
After collaborating with Playboy, Disney and So Many Waves among others, the label co-founded by rapper Drake has teamed up this time with Artestar, a licensing and creative consulting agency, and the Keith Haring Foundation for the launch of its new collection. This one is centered on the New York artist’s ‘Night Owl’, created in 1989 and featuring an owl as the main motif, an animal that is also OVO’s logo.
The late 80s artist’s work is captured on sweatshirts, t-shirts, denim jackets and even a pin. Prices for these items range from £22 to £168 and are available from OVO’s online and physical stores.
